These wind chimes both sound AND look beautiful! The chimes have a lovely mid to high tone, and the crystal is prismatic and creates rainbows when the light hits it right. It’s very high quality and the crystal is big and weighty, not cheap, light plastic.

This was chosen to be a Mother's Day gift for a dear friend who lives in a senior development to put on her balcony. The chime set is beautiful in appearance - especially the monarch butterfly as the suncatcher at the end of the chime, as well as the wonderfully melodic tuning of the chimes. The tones are exceptionally well chosen to combine in a musical way. My one caution is that I would not hang this away from under a roof because of the need to keep the butterfly from being damaged by something falling or hitting it. While more expensive then some chime sets, it is well worth paying the difference for both the quality of manufacturing and the musical quality of tone of the chimes, which makes it well worth the value for the price. I can't wait to give this to my friend and see how delighted she is!
